Words from families I've supported.

Azaria’s Lactation Class was incredibly helpful. With my first baby, I stopped breastfeeding after about a month because I thought I wasn’t producing enough milk and I lacked confidence. Going into my second postpartum experience, I didn’t have high expectations for breastfeeding. Since formula is also a great option these days, I didn’t feel particularly attached to the idea of breastfeeding. However, this class completely changed my perspective. I realized that breastfeeding is about much more than simply feeding your baby—it’s one of the very first ways to build a deep physical and emotional connection. More importantly, I learned that breastfeeding doesn’t have to be approached with pressure or perfection. After taking this class, I felt confident that I could create a better breastfeeding experience for my second baby and continue for longer if it felt right for both of us. I had attended breastfeeding education at my postpartum care center after my first birth, but Azaria’s class gave me a much deeper understanding of why these practices matter. The explanation of breast anatomy made it so much easier to understand why feeding on demand, rather than following a strict schedule, is important. One of the most valuable parts of the class was the hands-on support. Seeing the techniques demonstrated with a doll and then receiving immediate feedback while I was actually breastfeeding made a huge difference. Reading about breastfeeding is one thing, but practicing it with expert guidance builds real confidence. What impressed me most was that Azaria never made me feel judged or pressured. Instead of telling me what I “should” do, she provided evidence-based information and encouraged me to make the decision that was best for me and my baby. I would recommend this class not only to parents who are committed to breastfeeding, but also to anyone who is still unsure. Even if you ultimately decide not to breastfeed, this class gives you the knowledge to understand your options and make an informed decision. It helped me understand why I wanted to breastfeed, not because I felt obligated to, but because I truly understood its benefits. And if I had chosen not to, I would have felt equally confident that my decision was informed rather than based on uncertainty. Although I live in Korea, I was able to receive so much support through Azaria’s online class. I can only imagine how fortunate parents in the U.S. are to have access to someone who speaks their language, understands their culture, and provides such compassionate, personalized guidance. This class wasn’t just about learning breastfeeding techniques, it gave me confidence in myself during one of the most vulnerable times of becoming a mother. That was the greatest gift I took away from this experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Lactation Services

Although this was my second pregnancy, I realized how much I had forgotten since my first birth. The first time, I learned through YouTube videos, books, and advice from people around me, but when you're going through it for the first time, it's hard to remember everything or know whether you're really prepared. Taking Azaria's childbirth classes just one month before my second baby is due gave me exactly what I needed. The two sessions helped me review everything I had learned before, while also filling in so many important gaps that I hadn't even realized were there. I honestly felt that we covered everything I needed to feel prepared. What impressed me most was Azaria herself. Her knowledge, calm teaching style, and thoughtful way of explaining every topic made it hard to believe this was a newly launched course. Beyond the practical information, I felt emotionally supported as well. By the end of the classes, I realized that many of my fears about childbirth had eased. It almost felt like I had attended both a childbirth education course and a therapy session. As someone from Korea, I never felt out of place. Instead, I appreciated learning about pregnancy and childbirth from different cultural perspectives, which broadened my understanding. More importantly, I felt genuinely respected—not only as a pregnant woman, but also as a person with my own body, choices, and career. I'm truly grateful for this experience and would wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone preparing for birth, whether it's their first baby or their second.

Lamaze Class

I really enjoyed Azaria’s two-day Lamaze class. She offers great availability, which made scheduling easy. As a nurse practitioner with experience in postpartum, labor & delivery, and antepartum care, I still found the classes to be very informative and valuable. Her teaching is well-supported by research, peer-reviewed journals, and trusted organizations like Lamaze and Spinning Babies, which I really appreciated. It made the information feel both credible and practical. I think these classes would be incredibly beneficial for medical professionals, first-time moms who want to feel more prepared, and anyone supporting a loved one through childbirth. Overall, a great experience and highly worth it.
